Summary

The Financial Information Systems Analyst provides support, analysis, validation, control, maintenance and development of databases, applications and information processing for the finance department. This role also requires a significant commitment to participate in finance-related projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Support applications/systems for accounting and treasury (general ledger, financial reporting, investment, budget, interest, compensation systems etc...
  • Maintain ETL processes between financial systems/applications
  • Coordinate information gathering and report distribution
  • Provide troubleshooting for finance application users
  • Execute change-management testing, validation and coordination
  • Create and enforce systems controls, policies and procedures
  • Key finance representative on project teams
  • Maintain static application data
  • Document systems processes

Qualifications

  • Five years of experience in cost accounting, regulatory accounting or treasury operations
  • Broad understanding of a finance department’s activities in the brokerage industry
  • Experience supporting a general ledger and financial reporting package
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Access database structure and capabilities
  • Ability to write and document effectively
  • Good customer-service skills
  • Bachelor degree or higher
