RJO offers the latest in order entry technology coupled with 24-hour execution and clearing on every futures exchange worldwide. RJO services a nationwide network of over 200 introducing brokers as well as some of the world's largest financial, industrial and agricultural institutions.

Summary

This position will serve as the initial point of contact for resolution of desktop computer and telephone handset problems in a geographically diverse 350-user environment. Troubleshoot, research, diagnose, document, and resolve technical issues surrounding Windows XP, MS Office, MS Exchange E-mail, network based print services, and hardware/peripherals.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assures uninterrupted service from end user equipment (printers, PCs, etc) through preventative maintenance and patch management
  • Responsible for installation and testing of new end user equipment
  • Assists internal users with computer desktop hardware and software problem resolution
  • Assist remote users with the installation of application software
  • As needed, assists in operating system patch management and server maintenance

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years with end user support experience
  • Financial Services experience required
  • Trading environment experience preferred
  • Demonstrated technical and analytical skills, including the ability to understand and communicate complex technical information
  • Solid knowledge of networking (e.g., LAN/WAN, TCP/IP). PC and desktop applications expertise (e.g., Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.) and desktop security
  • Knowledge of trading applications, such as CQG, PATS, TT, Bloomberg, and exchange supported applications preferred
  • Solid experience in supporting Microsoft server software, i.e.; Exchange, SMS, MS Project, SharePoint, MS Active Directory Services, etc. Extensive experience in Windows XP Professional required, Vista, and Widows 7 a plus.

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • An Undergraduate degree is preferred with a minimum of an Associate's degree in a related technical field.
