RJO offers the latest in order entry technology coupled with 24-hour execution and clearing on every futures exchange worldwide. RJO services a nationwide network of over 200 introducing brokers as well as some of the world's largest financial, industrial and agricultural institutions.

Summary

This position must provide risk management from 10:30 pm-7:00 am.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Using online query to monitor and review all RJO accounts for trading and margin maintenance.
  • Using third party admin (TT, CQG, PATS, RTS) and exchange admin platforms (FirmSoft, Eurex, WebICE) to monitor and review RJO customers and brokers that access exchanges directly not captured on online query during off market hours.
  • Help RJO staff and customers with any order issues at the exchange. This can involve finding the order status, cancelling and confirming.
  • Review and permission requests for order limit, position and product changes for all accounts during the off market trading session for RJO, Third party and exchanges.
  • Dissemination of all electronic exchange communications such as busted trades, market delays and shut downs and etc to RJO and affected customers. Sending foreign margin email request for funds due.
  • Maintaining and updating eRisk lists - This involves the “Night Consent” to trade and all the permission electronic users, and eRisk Data Base.

Qualifications

  • Must have worked for a FCM or trading broker or some related job with understanding of futures business and clearing.
  • Must have proficient computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, particularly MS Excel; VBA and SQL knowledge a plus. Must have experience with GMI and other industry specific back office systems.
  • Must be self motivated, organized and able prioritize. Must be comfortable in taking initiative and able to use common sense with regards to know when to seek advice and help.
  • 4 year degree preferred
